Thornton & Lowe
The ability to write a competitive and strong tender submission requires preparation, planning and time. A bid/tender apprenticeship can enable you to plan and prepare effectively to increase your success rates.
The role of bid and proposal professionals is integral to how businesses win work. A key part of the sales and business development function, is that a bid and proposal professional works across various business teams to bring together compelling, customer focused proposals and tender submissions to win business.
Apprenticeships are proven to be a cost effective way for employers to develop their own talent and to ensure the sustainability of their workforce.
Here are some of the many business benefits of taking on an apprentice:
Thornton & Lowe Director, Dave Thornton, who was on the steering group setting up the National Occupational Standards for Bidding & Tendering said:
“This is a sign of the times and an acceptance of the importance of bidding as a profession. This further push to creating recognised standards across all levels to ensure consistent training for those entering the bid profession.”
Thornton & Lowe are working to ensure that for 2017, and in line with the new apprenticeship levy, we are able to effectively support our clients as approved apprenticeship training providers.
The role will cover the full end to end bid management process from opportunity identification and assessment through to the coordination of PQQs and tender responses. Please click here to download the current Standard for Bid and Tender Apprentices.
Currently we are working with a small group of existing clients to assess employer requirements from the role. Please contact us on 01204 238046 or email hello@thorntonandlowe.com for more information.
