Are you looking after your employee’s health? Your employees' health is equally as important as their safety, and is an increasing point of focus of enforcing authorities.

By offering specialist monitoring and assessment services, we can help you to understand and manage the health risks to your employees.

The occupational hygiene services we provide, include:

• Air Sampling We will carry out personal and static air sampling to ascertain people's exposure to potential airborne contaminants (dusts, solvents, isocyanates etc) in their workplace.

• Noise Assessment We will carry out measurements and assessments in compliance with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. Advise you on the technical aspects of the report and recommend reasonably practicable control measures, such as hearing protection and its suitability plus requirements for hearing checks.

• Dust Exposure Measurements We use either static or personal monitoring techniques to measure particulate exposure to MDHS 14/4 (HSE's 'Methods for the Determination of Hazardous Substances' guidance).

• Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Assessments We will assess employees' exposure to hazardous substances in the workplace and recommend, if necessary, any required control measure.

• Legionella Assessment

We will visit your organisation to assess the risks from legionella arising from hot and cold water systems, air-conditioning units and work processes.

Our inspection is based on water temperature measurements and an inspection of accessible water tanks and visible pipework.

If possible, we also review any schematic diagram and management controls/data.

Where necessary, we will recommend actions to comply with the HSE Approved Code of Practice.
