New corporate tax chief at RSM

Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has appointed Nick Blundell as its head of corporate tax in Birmingham.

Nick joins RSM as a partner after 18 years spent at a Big Four firm where he provided tax advice to local PLCs and owner-managed businesses, as well as private equity backed and overseas owned businesses.

Born in Birmingham, Nick is a law graduate from King’s College London and a chartered accountant.
Mark Taylor, RSM’s office managing partner in Birmingham, said: “The corporate tax landscape, particularly for small and middle market companies doing business overseas, is becoming a lot more complex. 

“We are therefore delighted to welcome Nick to the team who brings experience and expertise which will be invaluable to our clients in Birmingham and across the West Midlands.”

Outside of work, Nick lives in Worcestershire with his family, is an Aston Villa fan, and enjoys cycling and cookery.
