Ahead of the 2019 Asian Business Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) dinner and awards, we take a look at those who have been nominated in the eight main categories.
Today the candidates in the Outstanding Start-up Business of the Year category are in the spotlight.
The winners will be announced at the annual dinner and awards event at The National Motorcycle Museum on Saturday, 7 December.

Based on Kings Road, Double Parked offers an online directory for learner drivers to find driving instructors.
Instructors on the directory have reviews, accreditations and the vehicle they teach in listed.
The firm says that their service tries to disrupt the market and offer instructors something different, by also providing the ability for learners to pay for lessons online.
Double Parked have listened to instructors using their platform, and have since been able to improve the platform for instructors and learners.
As a result, the firm has been able to rapidly accelerate instructor sign ups to its platform, with plans to expand the size of the platform even further in the next three years.
Private GP service Midland Health, based in the Westbourne Centre in Edgbaston, Birmingham, was founded by experienced GP Dr Rupa Parmar, who previously worked in Bristol and Australia.
Midland Health provide a personalised, pay-as-you-go, care service that aims to empower patients, and prides itself on giving its patients choice of appointments and the ability to work within the private and public health sectors.
The GP service works alongside an outpatient team of matrons, nurses and healthcare assistants, and has access to expert advice from consultant specialists in a variety of fields.
The business is continuing to grow and flourish, with revenues, website hits and enquiries all skyrocketing in recent months.
Perez Consulting Limited
Edgbaston-based Perez Consulting is a specialist recruitment consultancy firm which provides quality healthcare staff.
The firm was established by Lijeh Perez, who is a fellow of the Lunar Society and member of the Institute of Employability Professionals.
Perez Consulting is extremely passionate in its work to help every healthcare professional find the best job fit for them to offer continuity of care and be passionate about their patients.
Being founded just this year, Perez Consulting has greatly expanded its network, made several new hires in its short lifespan and worked with a number of Government bodies and public sector organisations.
The firm has ambitious plans to grow considerably over the next three years.
