A solicitors practice, which is more than 100 years old, has been shortlisted for Solicitors Firm of the Year (outside London) in the Enfranchisement and Right To Manage Awards 2019.
Adcocks, which was founded in 1910 by Leonard Hedley Adcock in West Bromwich, is a niche practice offering specialist services to leaseholders and freeholders.
The firm, now based in Lichfield, employ six specialist lawyers and have seen the practice grow substantially over the past three years.
Two of the practice’s lawyers have worked for the Law Commission, helping to prepare the consultation papers on leasehold reform, commonhold tenure and right to manage claims.
Mark Adcock (pictured), the firm's senior director, said: “We are delighted to have been put forward for this award.
"We have all worked very hard during the last few years to build the practice’s reputation in this area and we believe that we are the leading firm in the Midlands offering clients across the UK advice in this specialist area."
The awards ceremony will be held at the Landmark Hotel in London on 6 June, where Adcocks will find out if they have won.
