Town Hall back Chamber’s EcoPledge

12 July 2019

Sutton Coldfield Town Hall have become the latest organisation to back Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce’s sustainability initiative.

EcoPledge is the brainchild of Sutton Coldfield Chamber president Katie Hale and encourages businesses to make one small change to their operation in order to make a big difference to the environment and their bottom line.

The pledge launched at the Royal Business Fair with businesses making their pledge via a creative drawing board supplied by Chamber members PLOTT Creative.

Sutton Coldfield Town Hall announced their support for the pledge by vowing to eradicate single-use plastic cups from their bar by the end of 2019.

The Town Hall’s newly-appointed managing director Julie Rennison (pictured) collected a chocolate prize from PLOTT’s HQ after making the winning pledge.

Anna Plotnek, managing director of PLOTT Creative, said: “The pledges we’ve picked as winners are ones that we think are achievable and will make a great impact on the environment.

“Enjoy the chocolate but please recycle the wrapper!”
