More businesses back Future Faces awards

12 September 2019

Four further businesses and organisations have backed the Future Faces fifth annual dinner and awards.

Birmingham City University, Schofield and Associates, Andalucia Tourism Board and Inspired Energy are the latest award and drinks reception sponsors of the event.

Future Faces – the young professionals’ arm of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce – is holding its awards ceremony at the ICC on Friday 20 September.

The awards acknowledge the remarkable achievements of all Greater Birmingham's young professionals.

Nine sector awards will be handed out on the night.

One of the winners from those nine categories will then be crowned the overall Future Face of Greater Birmingham (sponsored by Aston University).

Alongside these awards, a Future Faces Ambassador award will also be presented to a member of the Future Faces Chamber, and receive a place on Common Purpose's Streetwise MBA.

Julien Beer, deputy vice-chancellor at Birmingham City University, said: "Birmingham is known as the youngest major city in Europe.

"A key part of Birmingham City University’s vision is enabling personal transformation, so it is wonderful to see how this particular event celebrates the achievements of Greater Birmingham's young professionals.

"Our goal at BCU is delivering innovative learning and employability opportunities that have been identified as crucial to growth in the local and regional economy and that support the skills and expertise development of the city and the region’s future faces.

"I am therefore delighted that Birmingham City University is supporting this year’s Future Faces annual dinner and awards."

Employment lawyers Schofield and Associates are entertainment sponsors for the annual dinner and awards. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by award-winning vocal group Sons of Pitches and spoken word performer Casey Bailey.

Eileen Schofield, principle at Schofield & Associates, said: “Schofield & Associates has supported Future Faces from its inception, one of our team Sarah Dodds was elected onto the inaugural committee and helped shape the opportunity for future faces.

“The team at Schofield & Associates recognises the value of supporting emerging leaders across the professions, the Future Faces awards are an opportunity to applaud their success and support their future growth in their chosen profession.

“We are delighted to support the awards in 2019 and sincerely hope that you enjoy the entertainment which looks to be a sensational line up.”

Andalucia Tourism Board and Inspired Energy join seven other organisations as award sponsors.

Andalucia Tourism Board will sponsor Future Face of Arts and Culture award and Inspired Energy will sponsor Future Face of Sales and Marketing award.
