Jewellery Quarter based mixed-use property developer, Blackswan Property, has made a senior new design hire.
Formerly a Chartered Architect at Coventry based Architecture firm, IDP and global design firm Gensler, experienced Martin Prince-Parrott (pictured) has joined the Blackswan team as a design manager.
Along with his award-winning architectural experience, Martin also has a growing list of honours including being named a Resi-Trailblazer by Property Week Magazine, becoming a finalist for Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Award (2019) and being published in the Architect’s Journal.
Blackswan, who will this year celebrate their 10-year anniversary this year, say they pride themselves on their ability to create buildings and spaces around Birmingham, with a strong focus on regeneration and heritage sites.
Blackswan Property has seen increased growth over the last few years, expanding both the team and its portfolio of projects.
Marcus Hawley, chief executive and founder of Blackswan Property, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that Martin has joined the Blackswan team.
“Our vision is to become one of Birmingham’s most highly regarded and well-known mixed-use developers, and we’ve consistently seen strong growth here year on year. Martin brings years of experience and talent, and will support our plans for continued growth and the Blackswan vision.”
