Networking guests to get moving with pilates taster

13 November 2020

Virtual attendees at an upcoming Pro-Solihull networking event will be treated to a pilates taster session, being hosted by Dance Fitness Solihull.

Hosted by Emma Brown (pictured), the 10-minute taster session will be a part of the regular networking series of events, hosted by Solihull Chamber, taking place virtually on 19 November.

Dance Fitness Solihull (DFS) has been providing adult and child exercise sessions including Zumba, pilates and golf specific pilates group and one-to-one classes in and around Solihull since 2011.

Emma explained: "I have been teaching in the fitness industry for since 1993. I have taught group fitness including dance, Zumba and Clubbercise, traditional aerobics and step, pilates, boxercise, at all the National UK healthclubs including Virgin Active, David Lloyd, The Village, Fitness First and at various Birmingham City Council Leisure centres.

"I am fully qualified, authorised, experienced and insured in all the fitness disciplines I teach and have helped thousands and thousands of children and adults on their journey to a healthier, fitter lifestyle.  I love teaching, guiding and coaching, it really is my passion in life!"

Lillian Elekan, head of Solihull Chamber, explained why the Chamber was keen to jeep attendees moving: "During the Spring lockdown, it became clear how important it was to continue to look after your own mental health and physical fitness.

"This time around, the weather is cooler and the evenings are darker, but we must remember to look after ourselves, and the aim of this short taster at the start of Pro-Solihull is to demonstrate how easy it can be to take just 10 minutes out to get your body moving and endorphins flowing."

Pro-Solihull is free to attend for members and non-members of the Chamber.
