A Chamber member has been named as one of the UK 's most 100 inspirational female entrepreneurs in a new list published as part of Small Business Britain 's 'f:Entrepreneur '#ialso100 ' campaign.

Jude Jennison (pictured) who founded Leaders by Nature in 2010 is being showcased alongside 100 female entrepreneurs from across the UK, as part of the campaign 's recognition of the multi-achievements of women who have proved critical to society during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Now in its fourth year, 'f:Entrepreneur ' was launched in 2017 to highlight female role models to help and inspire all small businesses, through content, stories and events.

In particular, it aims to showcase trailblazing female entrepreneurs who lead small businesses alongside a roster of other responsibilities, such as volunteering, mentoring and community support activities.

Jude was also commended for her leadership - not only in turning her own business round but also for supporting other businesses, both her clients and fellow entrepreneurs.

She said: “When the pandemic caused the first lockdown in March 2020, I closed the doors to my stables, where I bring clients to work with my herd of horses to explore their non-verbal leadership and team skills.

“I lost five months of bookings overnight and still had the costs of keeping the horses. Undeterred though, I bounced back and switched from working with horses to providing online masterclasses on 'Leading through uncertainty ', which is the title of one of three leadership books I have written. ”

Under her guidance, she has inspired both clients and colleagues to turn their businesses around, as well as her own.

Jude is now launching her Leadership Academy in 2021 to provide bite-size learning for other leaders.

On being listed in the #ialso100, Jude added: “The #ialso100 campaign is brilliant for showcasing some of the little-known women-owned businesses who have a significant impact on the economy and in communities.

“I 'm delighted to have been selected to feature alongside some exceptional women business owners. ”

Both f:Entrepreneur and Small Business Britain were founded by Michelle Ovens CBE, who is also the director of Small Business Saturday UK.
