Hot tub manufacturer to feature in ITV4 documentary

A hot tub manufacturer will tell the story of its success in an ITV4 show about products made in Britain which airs this evening.

Sutton Coldfield-based Roto Spa is set to feature in the programme Made In Britain which is being shown on ITV4 at 8pn this evening.

The documentary series looks at how things are made, from common household items to large scale machinery.

RotoSpa is the only UK manufacturer of rotationally moulded hot tubs and boasts more than 18 years ' experience of designing and building spas.

Managing director Karl Rowntree said: “Our initial discussions with the producers of Made In Britain started back at the end of 2019.

“We saw this as a great opportunity to tell our story and be part of celebrating British manufacturing. The timing was ideal with Brexit just around the corner.

“Covid delayed the initial filming date but gifted increased awareness of our industry which in turn saw demand for our product considerably increase.

“When filming was able to go ahead it was a pleasure to work with the team, tell our company story and ultimately enable the viewer to make an informed decision on buying British. ”
