ChamberlinkDaily today begins its countdown to the Chamber’s annual awards, which take place online on Tuesday 27 July.

The virtual extravaganza – which will be beamed live from Chamber House in Edgbaston – is sponsored by Birmingham City University and Inspired Energy, with Birmingham City Council also providing support as a headline partner.

The winners of twelve sector awards are to be revealed on the night, as well as the overall Greater Birmingham Business of the Year and Chamber president Steve Allen’s President’s Award.

In the run-up to the event, we’ll be previewing the shortlist as well as revealing details about the big night.

We begin our shortlist countdown by highlighting the Excellence in Contribution to the Community category, sponsored by South & City College Birmingham.

The nominees are:

5UP CIC
ACE Dance and Music
Birmingham City University
Digital Innovators
Gro-Organic CIC

There are still a few remaining sponsorship opportunities available for the awards - contact the Chamber’s head of new business Russell Ashman on r.ashman@birmingham-chamber.com
