Grayling to host Midlands sport power event
Grayling Communications is holding an exclusive event for the great and good of sports and business.
The event will celebrate the Midlands Sport Power 50, created in partnership with TheBusinessdesk, and reflects on a historic summer of sport.
The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 11October 2022, from 6pm to 8pm at The Ivy, Temple Row, B2 5LS.
As well as being a fantastic networking opportunity, three speakers will share brief insights on how sport and businesses can work together to deliver growth.
Professor Geoff Thompson, Deputy Chair of Birmingham 2022, will reveal the positive impact the games had on the local economy and the intangible confidence boost provided by the summer's sporting spectacle.
Michelle Leavesley, senior independent director at Warwickshire CCC, will discuss why sport must evolve to embrace the language of 'ESG ' to improve business engagement and commerciality.
Patrick Fraser (Pictured), Director at Grayling will illustrate how brands can maximise associations with sport by playing back a recent campaign that amplified sponsorship of the Women 's Euros.
He said: "We are delighted to be hosting the first Midland Sport Power 50 event, to recognise those involved in the business of sport across the region and look back on a stunning summer of sport. ”
