This Easter holidays, Touchwood Solihull is hosting a range of activities to keep the family 'super ' entertained.

Starting on Saturday 1 April, Touchwood is launching its very own 'Super Easter Adventure ' to celebrate the launch of the new The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Led by Touchwood 's cherished resident, Gordon the Monkey, the Easter activity involves a trail around the centre, with kids invited to hunt out various clues to test their gaming skills and solve puzzles for the chance to win their very own golden coins - just like Mario.

It 's time to say “lets-a go! ” to the kids, as the trail will be open for two weeks until Sunday 16 April.

For those seeking out more adventure, become a game designer and craft an island castle at Touchwood 's free 'Mario Castle Builder ' Lego workshop on Wednesday 12 April. Come on down to Crescent Arcade to scout deserts, oceans and jungles and build a castle fit for a Mario legend.

The fun doesn 't stop there - also on Wednesday 12 April, there will be guest character appearances in the centre at intervals throughout the day from heroes of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Leonardo and Raphael.

To wrap up the month of Easter fun, Touchwood is celebrating St. George 's Day on Sunday 23 April with its very own George and the Dragon characters on hand to provide entertainment to visitors to the centre throughout the day.

Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, said: “We are really excited to kick-start Spring with our Easter celebrations at Touchwood this year. Our activities with our beloved Gordon the Monkey are always a hit, and it 's great to host a trail with a twist this year to celebrate the new Super Mario Bros Movie.

“We can 't wait to get the adventure started - don 't miss the opportunity for a meet and greet with some of your favourite characters! ”
