Representatives of four leading organisations will be participating in a seminar to increase local business awareness of accessing a range of opportunities during the upcoming Greater Birmingham Business Expo.
The ‘Meet The Buyer’ seminar will feature representatives from Gymshark, Balfour Beatty VINCI, Birmingham Museums Trust, and Birmingham City Council who will share their approaches to working with local SME businesses as suppliers and in their supply chains.
The seminar will be held from 2pm to 3pm at the Greater Birmingham Business Expo on 6 October at the Edgbaston Stadium.
Businesses from all sectors will be taking part in the expo which also includes a speed networking and another seminar on ‘Pitch to Win: SMEs & Local Procurement’.
Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce CEO Henrietta Brealey (pictured) said: “We are delighted that representatives of four of the region’s anchor institutions and leading organisations will be joining us for this panel.
“Collectively, these organisations are procuring products and services from a very wide range of businesses from technology to creative, construction to training and beyond. This is an unmissable opportunity to gain insight into how these leading organisations work with local businesses and SMEs.
“This session will take place at our Greater Birmingham Business Expo. This event will bring together over 75 exhibitors from all sectors and sizes of business.
“It’s a microcosm of Greater Birmingham’s business community under one roof and a brilliant way to pick up intelligence on businesses and activity in the region and make new contacts.”
