Chamber launches new ‘Meet the Buyer’ seminar at upcoming business expo

Representatives of four leading organisations will be participating in a seminar to increase local business awareness of accessing a range of opportunities during the upcoming Greater Birmingham Business Expo.
The ‘Meet The Buyer’ seminar will feature representatives from Gymshark, Balfour Beatty VINCI, Birmingham Museums Trust, and Birmingham City Council who will share their approaches to working with local SME businesses as suppliers and in their supply chains.
The seminar will be held from 2pm to 3pm at the Greater Birmingham Business Expo on 6 October at the Edgbaston Stadium.
Panellists include;
- John Lawley, IT procurement manager of Gymshark
- Kingston Myles, director of enterprise and innovation of Birmingham Museums Trust
- Matt Munn from Balfour Beatty VINCI Joint Venture
- Steve Sandercock, assistant director - procurement of Birmingham City Council
Businesses from all sectors will be taking part in the expo which also includes a speed networking and another seminar on ‘Pitch to Win: SMEs & Local Procurement’.
