David Grady, Chief Financial Officer, Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee, will provide an overview of the Games Programme including a high level overview of the Procurement plans and pipeline.
11.35am - 12.20pm - Challenges and benefits of trading internationally
At a time when expanding trade in to new markets is becoming increasingly important, businesses need to be aware of the support that is available. This session will provide you with an overview in international trade and provide you with understanding of the challenges and the benefits to trading with overseas markets. In addition to this the Chamber’s international department will be relaunching its portfolio of training courses to provide knowledge and understanding in a variety of subjects. The focus of the new package is on delivering courses that are relevant and packed with high quality content with some British Chambers Accredited outcomes.
12.40pm - 1.25pm - Cyber Security – The Human Dimension sponsored by Nowcomm
Kevin Prone, head of services at Nowcomm will unravel the mysteries and demystifies the world of cyber security, including tips and tricks to combat cyber-attacks. This all starts with changing human behaviour and making users aware of the steps they can take to protect themselves and their businesses from data breaches and cyber-attacks.
