The Royal Air Force will host an interactive workshop delivering leadership tasks from a military perspective. The Armed forces are internationally renowned for excellence in leadership development. Focusing on understanding your strengths and areas for development when leading and working in a team, delegates will collaborate with other Greater Birmingham professionals on interactive group challenges. After each group task, delegates will take part in a debrief session exploring their strengths and areas for improvement.
The Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce are proud to support the UK armed forces. The GBCC are a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and recently received a Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award.

About our partner:
The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is the biggest Combined Authority in the country, still growing and currently covering around four million people.
It was formally established in June 2016 with a remit to gain devolved powers from Westminster to the West Midlands to benefit the region, its residents and businesses.
Andy Street was elected as the region’s first Mayor in May last year.
Through collaborative working, across a range of sectors, the WMCA aims to deliver more jobs, enhanced and targeted skills training, increased housing and better connectivity, bringing inclusive growth to all of the region’s communities.
