About the speakers:
Andrew Marcinko, PhD Candidate, Aston Business School
Andrew Marcinko is currently a visiting researcher at Durham University and is completing the final year of his PhD in Organisational Psychology at Aston Business School. He completed his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in the United States and was born and raised in the Washington DC area. His current research is focused on diversity and inclusion in the workplace, with a particular interest in training, team performance, organisational climate, and employee well-being.
Previously, Andrew has worked in collaboration with the U.S. Navy Submarine School, the United Nations, and various other organisations in developing evidence-based employee training programs. He was also involved in a large-scale project for NASA focused on astronaut health and teamwork during deep space exploration, in preparation for a potential manned mission to Mars. Andrew has delivered numerous workshops and talks on team performance, unconscious bias, and organisational diversity in both the UK and the US.
James Farrow, Co-Founder and Director, Curium Solutions
James is Co-Founder and Director of Solutions and Futures at Curium. He has over 20 years’ experience in shaping and delivering critical business, cultural and IT change within global organisations, including Lloyds Banking Group, Eon and Tesco. At Curium James is responsible for the solutions that are delivered across all areas of Change, Performance Learning and Digital. Most recently James has been responsible for setting up Curium in the US where it provides leadership programmes and high impact content for household names such as PepsiCo and NASA. James is passionate about the power of unlocking diversity to empower individual and team performance.
