The West Midlands is currently on the cutting edge of life science industry and in all aspects from research and manufacturing to investment. Thanks to this competitive edge, why not go international and showcase your excellence in Italy? The Enterprise Europe Network is pleased to invite you to the leading life sciences matchmaking convention of 2018 in Bologna, Italy. This event is aimed at companies both large and small that work in the life sciences and related sectors to meet potential partners and form collaborations.
When last held in 2017, this event was hugely successful; with a particularly large growth in overseas organisations attending and international meetings held, which grew at a rate of 20% and 60% when compared to 2016, and these numbers are expected to further grow by a similar amount this year. This illustrates that foreign firms are finding significant value in attending and are returning year-on-year in greater numbers. With the expertise that the West Midlands has to offer, there are certainly deals and agreements to be made within this engaging environment.
The agenda for this event consists of a 3-day programme (10-12th October) of themed workshops, pitching sessions, matchmaking, business meetings with overseas partners and then an international conference on key trends and innovation strategies in the life sciences industry to finish.
What Sectors are covered?
This event was originally created in 2014 by the ALISEI National Technology Cluster for Life Sciences in Florence, but in 2018 is being promoted and organized by the Emilia-Romagna regional government alongside the Enterprise Europe Network.
There is no charge for attending the event, but registration is required as places are limited due to its popularity.
