Who is this course suitable for?

This workshop would be suitable for delegates that have previously attended the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce’s previous Marketing Courses on building a brand and creating a marketing strategy. It would also suit those who already have their marketing strategy in place but need some help translating this into targeted actions.  

What does the delegate gain?

The attendee will learn how to plan and deliver their marketing activity in a coordinated way. 

Knowledge and understanding will be taught along the way that will help businesses to save time, plan efficiently and identify opportunities to enhance their marketing through partnership and cross marketing.

This workshop will help identify what a business are happy to deliver themselves and empower them to prepare an informed brief for any areas where they may need professional input.  It will enable them to write and action a marketing plan.

Who runs the session?

The workshop will be delivered by Mel Evans, an internationally acclaimed marketing strategist, who has spent 30 years creating the marketing strategies and launch plans for some of the best-known destination brands in the Midlands, including Bullring Birmingham, High cross Leicester, Mailbox and Grand Central.

Mel has also helped many smaller companies and charities to develop their brands and marketing activity.  She is a Chamber Member, professionally trained coach and member of the ICF.  Based in Sutton Coldfield, Mel has launched 3 of her own businesses, so understands the needs of smaller businesses.

Costs:

Member fee:  £90+VAT

Non-member fee: £130+VAT

*Please note, the aim is always to finish at the time provided above, but please allow extra time depending on how many delegates are on the course, as there may be more questions for the trainer to answer.

*Any cancellations must be confirmed via email to the training address and must be given within 5 working days clear of the original event date. For any cancellations given less than 5 working days before the event, fees will not be refunded. This also counts for non-attendance. If the course is due to run again in the future, delegates can opt to transfer to the next available date. A £50 fee will still be issued to cover the costs already incurred.
