While effective systems and processes are critical to business success, ultimately it is people who create change and growth in an organisation whatever the size. To maximise both the business and the people’s potential having a clear set of values, and a culture in which the business can grow effectively is so important. In addition, growth may result in expanding the number of people in your businesses, meaning the owner / CEO will need to step into a leadership role – so having those values and culture in place early in your business journey will be advantageous to long-term success.

This module 6th and final session of the Start-up and Small Business Academy. Emma Taylor, Chief People Officer at Cirium Solutions will address the issues of creating your company’s culture and mindset - even if your business is just you! Implementing strategies that value and get the best from you and your people.

Emma has worked for Curium Solutions for 10 years.

She is the Chief People Officer, so she looks after the team at Curium along with working with Customers as either a Coach or supporting large-scale Operational Projects. Her passion is all about putting People First and ensuring that any form of change delivery is embedded and sustained by adopting this approach from the outset.
