The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games shone a spotlight on Birmingham on the international stage like never before and record levels of FDI in 2022 for the region point to growing international recognition of Greater Birmingham across the globe. How can we build on these exciting developments and what role do our service companies play in showcasing the best of Greater Birmingham on the global level?
This event will explore the ‘softer’ influence of Greater Birmingham across the world – highlighting the important work of service export activity and the role it plays in driving economic growth. We will hear from Caroline Miller, CEO of Birmingham Royal Ballet, who will offer an overview of how the company builds Birmingham's brand on a global stage and its recent growth, both locally and globally.
Our second speaker will be confirmed soon.
