The Quarterly Business Report offers an up-to-date snapshot of the performance of the Greater Birmingham business community. Our flagship economic publication, it is the most comprehensive regular report of its kind in the city-region. Underpinning our report is data gathered from quarterly surveys completed by businesses from across the Greater Birmingham area. This event will launch our QBR Report for Q4.

It has been an extraordinary year, with businesses facing a raft of political and economic challenges ranging from record energy prices, rising inflation and labour market challenges. Q4 was no different in this respect, with these key issues being central to many aspects explored in the report, but with some positive sentiments beginning to emerge as businesses have successfully adapted to the challenges they’ve faced. We at the Chamber have been committed to Keep Business Moving by helping to connect, support and grow local businesses in Greater Birmingham throughout this uncertain time, and the intelligence gained from the QBR surveys is invaluable to helping us to meet this aim. After a review of the latest GBCC Quarterly Business Report results, this event will explore the growth prospects for the region as we emerge from a period of economic uncertainty.
