The Chamber’s Annual General Meeting is an important event in the Chamber’s calendar. The meeting includes a review of the Chamber’s activities and achievements during the last 12 months and also the election of members to the Chamber’s Executive Council.
You will find a link below for the nomination papers for the election of Chamber Officers. The nomination papers give you the opportunity to nominate new members to the Executive Council. This Council provides the Chamber with valuable feedback. This will influence its strategy and business plan. It also provides representatives on other groups and committees in Solihull, Birmingham and the West Midlands and a forum to ensure that the voice of Solihull business is heard locally and regionally. The expected contribution from members of the Executive Council is summarised in the attached document.
Solihull members wishing to be considered for election to any of these positions must complete and sign the nomination form attached to the AGM notice and must obtain the signature of a proposer and seconder.
Nominated individuals, proposers and seconders must be members of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce. Candidates are asked to submit a personal profile of not more than 200 words together with their nomination paper.
