Event Description:

Transport in Greater Birmingham is undergoing the biggest overhaul in a generation. Major projects such as HS2 and the extension of the Midland Metro are set to transform the city-region. But how can businesses make the most of these exciting developments?

This speaker breakfast event will allow local firms the chance to find out how they can access supply chain opportunities relating to transport and infrastructure.

Richard Kirkham, the project director for the LM joint venture which is delivering some of the HS2 works, and Paula Gray, the head of procurement for the Midland Metro Alliance, will be talking about access to the supply chain and the types of contracts available. And a representative from Amey will be discussing how businesses can make sure they are ready to bid for these types of contracts.

Please note Speaker Breakfast events are free for Patrons and 1813 Club members. When booking, please use your membership number to validate the free places.
