Join Burton & District, Cannock Chase and Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber divisions as representatives from Staffordshire County Council and local Skills and Growth Hub’s take you through the funding and grants opportunities linked to the £5m ‘Staffordshire Means Back To Business’ Fund released in March 2021.
Antony Baines, Assistant Director for Skills & Employability, and Anthony Hodge, Assistant Director for Business & Enterprise, Economy, Infrastructure & Skills at Staffordshire Council will give a broad summary of the various grants available before Suzanne Quinn of Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Skills Hub and Rebecca Parker of Stoke-On-Trent & Staffordshire Growth Hub takes delegates through in more detail the areas of funding available.
There are a wide range of grants available including:
- Small Business to Thrive Financial Support
- Start Up Scheme and Loans
- Staffordshire 500 to support businesses to develop apprenticeship opportunities
- Free Training Top Up for Employers
- Ignite Top Up Scheme with additional support to students to take their first steps in their own business
Following the presentations there will be an opportunity for questions to be submitted to the panel and after, Q&A open networking for 45 minutes for delegates to share their feedback and thoughts on the support discussed as well as networking in breakout rooms.
