Event Description:

COVID-19 has brought about new challenges for many leaders, managers and individuals. With changes to physical and mental health, the way we work, team dynamics and in some cases, organisational structures, come tricky conversations (arguably made all the more tricky by social distancing and remote working).

How do you approach a difficult conversation with a member of your team?

Join this webinar for techniques and expert advice to help you prepare for, approach and have difficult conversations with your people, at any level of your career. This workshop will discuss how to deal with unexpected topics and emotions, and manage these conversations in a productive way.

Speakers:

Diane Rance and Fiona Anderson are both Associates of Work Horizons, who drive organisational renewal, shape people strategy and deliver team and leadership coaching.

Diane began her career in the car industry, in Employee Relations, where she first developed her skills around handling Tricky Conversations. She now works independently as a qualified  and accredited Executive Coach and Mentor, and her work includes  supporting clients who are handling Tricky Conversations. As well as her own Coaching business she is a Partner of Work Horizons,  and as a Chamber Council Member was instrumental in proposing and establishing the Chambers Growth Through People campaign

Fiona Anderson, valuingYOU and My Change Expert, works in partnership with clients, ensuring that investment in change delivers results. From Executive Coaching to business wide change, she creates the space and environment for people to explore, develop and own their solutions to accelerate personal and companywide transformation.

In her spare time Fiona is an active volunteer for Engage for Success. As a Steering Group member she leads on #PeopleProductivity, to promote and develop the links between people and productivity and the impact on business results.

Attend for:

  • Expert advice on handling difficult conversations with colleagues, team members and even more senior leaders in your business.
  • Tips to help you prepare for a tricky conversation you may have been dreading, or putting off.
