The BABC Midlands is committed to promoting transatlantic trade and investment among our international group of businesses. And we are delighted that Birmingham was chosen to host the BABC 2018 transatlantic conference in June, attracting delegates from all over Britain and North America. This followed the success of Birmingham’s high-profile presence at the conference in Chicago in 2017.
The conference has previously been held in London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Washington DC and Chicago. The Midlands Chapter has widespread and influential backing in the region with Professor Julian Beer, deputy vice-chancellor at Birmingham City University, acting as president.
