Future Faces Annual Dinner & Awards 2017

Following the outstanding success of last year’s Future Faces Awards, Future Faces is returning to Edgbaston Stadium for the third Dinner & Awards which is taking place on Friday 15th September to acknowledge the remarkable achievements of Birmingham's young professionals.

This year's dinner promises to be bigger and better than ever before and will feature more sponsorship opportunities, more awards and even more young professionals taking part. 

To ensure that these awards truly reflect the talents of the wide range of young professionals that Birmingham has, we have broadened the existing award categories to the following 7 sector awards. The 2017 shortlisted candidates are:

The nominees were chosen by a judging panel made up of Russell Jeans, chief operating officer at GBCC; Louise Teboul, operations director of Common Purpose; Joe Schuppler, founder of Independent Birmingham; Fiona Allan, artistic director and chief executive at Birmingham Hippodrome; Gary Cardin, senior director at CBRE, and Neil Anderson, head of marketing and events at Millennium Point.

The winner of each category will be revealed at Future Faces’ annual dinner & awards ceremony at Edgbaston Stadium on Friday 15 September and the overall winner of the Future Face of Greater Birmingham award will also win a place on the Common Purpose Navigator Programme for Emerging Leaders (worth £3,500 + VAT), courtesy of Common Purpose.

 Future Faces Annual Dinner & Awards 2016

Last year's dinner boasted a 40% growth on year one with 350 guests present. Speakers included Paul Faulkner, CEO of the Greater Birmingham Chambers, Adam Maguire, Future Faces President, Sian Averill & Karen Kaur, Future Faces executive committee members and Chris Pile & Victoria Lineton, Future Faces Vice Presidents. The overall award went to Beth Farminer of Deutsche Bank who is the Future Face of Greater Birmingham 2016.

Entertainment was provided by TV Comedian David Morgan and delegates raised £4,433 for the President's Charity the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charity supporting ground-breaking research trials that offer patients access to new drugs faster than anywhere else in the country, to cutting-edge equipment like the cancer-busting radiotherapy machine CyberKnife, and facilities like Fisher House, a ‘home away from home’ for military patients and their families.
