The Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce’s Quarterly Business Report (QBR) offers an up to date snapshot of the performance of the region’s business community

It is the most comprehensive regular report of its kind in the city region. The GBCC QBR is sponsored by Birmingham City University. Underpinning the report is data gathered from quarterly surveys on key economic indicators such as business confidence, sales, exports, investment intentions and recruitment difficulties.

The Birmingham Economic Review is produced in partnership with the University of Birmingham’s City-Region Economic Development Institute (City-REDI).


It provides comprehensive insight into the economic geography, population, skills, assets, key sectors, comparative strengths and weaknesses of and opportunities and challenges facing the city.
