The 2019 General Election

On the 12th December, voters across the country will head to the polls to elect their local MP.

The results could change the makeup of the UK’s Parliament and Government and the direction of travel on Brexit and beyond for up to 5 years.

The Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce is an apolitical organisation. Ahead of the election, the GBCC are championing the needs of local businesses, raising awareness of what the party’s stand for and encouraging the business community to turnout to vote on the day.

Your Chamber

In the run up to the election, the Chamber network is campaigning hard to champion and give a voice to businesses.

The above represents the parties standing in a significant number of seats across the Greater Birmingham area. Other parties and independent candidates may be standing in individual constituencies.

Your Vote

To take part in the election you need to be eligible and have registered to vote by the 26th November. You can find out more information about your vote on the Electoral Commission website here.
