The Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) aim to recruit individuals with the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to help meet our business objectives. We are committed to ensuring a fair and objective recruitment process.
Inherent in our core values is the recognition given to the contribution that each member of staff makes to the achievement of our business objectives through effective performance. Our staff possess a wide variety of skills and qualifications in professional, specialist, administrative and support functions.
Equally, we recognise that ‘how’ we achieve effective performance is demonstrated through a shared set of 6 competencies and behaviours, designed to support increased cross team working, customer satisfaction, personal effectiveness and support our organisational culture.
The continuing development of staff and the ability for us to identify and nurture both our talent and leaders for the future is vital to the success of GBCC. In recognition of GBCC’s continuing commitment to staff development, the Investors in People award was achieved in 1996. GBCC also achieved re recognition against the Bronze Standard in 2016.
We pride ourselves on the delivery of quality services to our members. Achievements to date include the BS EN ISO 9001 (2008) quality standard which was first achieved in January 2004 and Accredited Status by the Association of British Chambers of Commerce.
