Training course - is this course suitable for you?

Background: ATA Carnet

A Carnet serves as a passport for goods and allows you to temporarily export various items without paying duties or import taxes.

When preparing your list of goods for the Carnet, you should ensure that you include everything you are taking on the trip that will be returning to the UK.

This list should contain descriptions, values, weights, and the origin of the goods.

ATA Carnets facilitate the movement of goods for specific purposes, including:

Commercial Samples: Exporting samples for business purposes.

Trade Fairs or Exhibitions: Taking goods to international exhibitions or trade shows.

Professional Equipment: Temporarily exporting equipment needed for work (e.g., tools, machinery, musical instruments).

ATA Carnets are accepted in 87 countries and territories that are part of the ATA Carnet system.

Is it for me?

Are you unsure how to answer the following questions?

  • Which countries can a Carnet travel to?
  • What items can I declare on my Carnet?
  • How do I accurately complete the Carnet application?

The ATA Carnet acts as a "passport" for your goods and can be quite complex.

This workshop will develop your knowledge of the step-by-step process of applying for a Carnet, to ensure your information is accurate thus avoiding any costly customs delays.

This workshop is designed for both beginners who are new to completing Carnets, or experienced exporters looking to refresh their knowledge.
