As a new business, there are many challenges to face and overcome which can be daunting but also rewarding.

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, it has been a challenge for me to have the discipline and motivation in my yoga and mindfulness meditation practice as I was recovering from Covid-19 which seemed to take for ever.

So when it came to starting physical classes, restoring the confidence in my clients was also a challenging task. However, I could understand my clients' mental barriers which stopped or slowed down the process of moving forward with their yoga practice.

At the same time, slowing down can be great in some situations as this is one of the lessons that Covid has taught us all. Slowing down and being in the present and taking time to focus on what you're doing in your everyday life, helps to improve your overall wellbeing.

By using yoga and mindfulness meditation as tool to overcome mental and physical barriers, yoga and meditation has enabled me to take my life to the next level.

The beauty of yoga and meditation is that what you learn on the matt, you can also take into the rest of your life. For me, practicing yoga on a regular basis has:

  • Increased flexibility
  • Increased muscle strength
  • Improved respiration, energy and vitality
  • Improved my cardio
  • Provided mental clarity and calmness
  • Increased body awareness
  • Improved wellbeing
  • Sharpened concentration
  • Relieved depression
  • Reduced stress

Studies have proven that the above are physical and mental benefits of yoga and mindfulness meditation.

Yoga means union. This ancient science goes far beyond the physical aspects and deepens the connection between mind, body and spirt. The spiritual aspect of yoga and meditation can help yogis to develop integration with the inner being as well as the oneness with the Supreme Consciousness.
