Intercity Technology, has formed a partnership with cybersecurity specialist, CyGlass, to make security solutions more affordable and accessible to public sector organisations and mid-sized enterprises across the UK.

Working in partnership with CyGlass, Intercity Technology will help drive the adoption of an affordable network defence technology, which allows companies to quickly detect potential threats and combat cyberattacks through an easy-to-use AI-driven functionality, easing the burden for smaller security teams.

As well as being the world 's only cloud-based Network Detection and Response (NDR) platform, CyGlass is the only NDR cloud solution specifically designed for mid-market organisations.

Ed Jackowaik, president of CyGlass, said: “Intercity Technology joins CyGlass ' network of global resellers and technology partners, with the aim of solving the network security problems for the tens of thousands of mid-sized public and private sector organisations that have become the targets of sophisticated attacks.

“These organisations are struggling to find defensive solutions that they can afford and operationalise. ”

Birmingham-based technology and communications company Intercity Technology has been at the forefront of providing outstanding managed security solutions to UK MSEs for over 15 years.

The company operates across a variety of sectors including local government, healthcare, financial services, education, and more.

Philip Bindley, managing director of cloud and security at Intercity, said: “CyGlass lets our customers see their entire digital network through a security lens, allowing them to plan their network defenses, prioritise what is essential, and efficiently deploy protection.

“Because it 's cloud-based, the technology operates without any additional hardware, software, or people.

“We 're pleased to be able to work with CyGlass to bring this innovative, affordable enterprise-class cybersecurity to smaller IT and security teams across the UK. We believe it will be an essential service in preventing the crippling damage of cyberattacks on UK public and private sector enterprises. ”
