Birmingham City Council become headline partner of GBCC awards

Birmingham City Council have been announced as the headline partner of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce 's Annual Dinner Awards.

The region 's biggest business dinner is taking place at the ICC in Birmingham on Friday 4 March.

A total of 13 awards are up for grabs on the night with the overall winner crowned Greater Birmingham Business of the Year 2022.

A record number of 92 businesses have been shortlisted.

The awards ceremony will recognise the remarkable achievements of businesses across Greater Birmingham during the most challenging of times.

Cllr Ian Ward (pictured), Birmingham City Council, said: "It's been another extremely tough year, but Birmingham businesses have shown amazing resilience and are playing a key role in what is a golden decade of opportunity for our city.

"I'm proud to have worked closely with the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce to support our business community through a challenging time, to protect jobs and to ensure that Birmingham is well placed to bounce back from the pandemic."
