A package of upgrades has been made to G&P Group Holdings ' cloud-based quality management system, QTrak.

Operating in real-time, QTrak uses supplier quality performance data to provide insights into quality trends and stability levels of manufacturing supply chains. This helps identify potential disruptive issues while reducing waste and saving costs.

The latest enhancements include:

  • improved language translations to expand usage among multinational manufacturers
  • a reduced screen size to give users even greater mobility
  • simplification of on-screen graphics to provide easer operation and eliminate user error when wearing gloves or other PPE
  • a wireless network prohibition solution which avoids any possible impact on clients ' own Wi-Fi networks.

Simon Francis, group quality director at G&P, said: “QTrak is already highly regarded across a range of industries such as automotive, for its ability to allow quicker quality management decisions to be made in real time.

“However, as part of our continuous improvement process and our experiences of working directly with OEMs, our latest enhancements are designed to take operator usability to a new level. ”

“With many OEMs and tier suppliers ramping up production again after the global pandemic, it is imperative that quality standards are maintained, or even improved. We 're confident that these latest developments to QTrak will provide even greater levels of usability, helping manufacturers across the globe achieve these goals. ”

In 2021 the QTrak system prevented more than 61 million non-conforming parts from entering the supply chain.

UK-based G&P has a global presence, operating in more than 250 manufacturing facilities around the world including many automotive, aerospace, off-highway and household goods facilities.
