A major Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce survey has launched - with the chance to win a prize bundle from one of Birmingham 's popular entertainment and leisure locations.

The quarterly business survey for Q2 of 2022 is now live until 6 Monday June.

Results form the basis for the Quarterly Business Report - the most comprehensive of its kind in the city-region, offering an up-to-date snapshot of the local economy.

In Q1, firms reported an improvement in export sales in the service sector, although pressures to increase prices affected more than half of respondents.

Businesses ' views from the survey will be collated at a national level and fed into institutions such as Government and Bank of England to enact change.

The GBCC also use this data to represent the views of local business in meetings with regional policymakers and stakeholders.

Participants will be entered into a prize draw to win a Broadway Plaza Bundle - consisting of four Odeon Luxe cinema tickets, a £50 Frankie and Benny 's voucher and a week of free parking.

The Quarterly Business Report is sponsored by Birmingham City University.

Beth Clewes, insight and intelligence services manager for the GBCC, said: “Following the 38 new Bills announced in the Queen 's Speech last week, we 'd love to hear from firms in the Greater Birmingham community to see what their response is, and to inform where we can best focus our lobbying activity to the benefit of local businesses.

“We 're looking for views from businesses of all sizes and from all sectors, and it 's so important to get responses from as many businesses as we can so that we can get an accurate picture of what successes and challenges the local business community as a collective are experiencing right now.

“The results of the survey enable us at GBCC to represent local businesses a regional and national level, so I really encourage anyone with an understanding of their organisation to take a few minutes to fill it out. ”

Now is the chance to complete the survey.

The results of the report will be launched at a breakfast event at Birmingham City University.
