PKF strengthens tax team in ongoing search for new talent

Accountancy and advisory firm PKF Smith Cooper has expanded its specialist tax team with eight recent recruits, including one manager, two assistant managers and three consultants.

The new additions have bolstered the company 's specialist tax provision across at its Derby, Nottingham and Birmingham offices.

In addition to hiring new talent, PKF Smith Cooper has been investing in the development of existing team members, with six promotions across the company last month including Charlotte Morgan 's promotion to corporate tax senior manager and Megan Whiley 's to tax manager.

The new team members are Robert McClelland (indirect tax manager), Tony Chamberlain (assistant indirect tax manager), Chris Cutting (assistant indirect tax manager), Janice Lo (private tax consultant), Jack Purkis (personal tax consultant), Vanessa Johnson (tax senior), Vasif Naseer (tax assistant) and Mohini Dhiresh (tax assistant).
