Programme to improve business health and wellbeing
Businesses are being invited to demonstrate their commitment to health and wellbeing.
In partnership with the Mental Health and Productivity Pilot (MHPP), The Thrive at Work health and wellbeing awards are the quality mark for health and wellbeing in work and standard of good practice within the Midlands.
The Thrive at Work commitment provides employers with a structured approach to workplace health and wellbeing.
It 's a blend of organisational and individual wellbeing elements which are broken down into 'themes ' such as enablers of health, mental health, musculoskeletal health and promoting healthy lifestyles.
The programme is managed online with a dashboard to monitor progress and upload evidence against the listed criteria in order to gain accreditation of the Thrive Award.
It is designed to maximise the potential of employees and drive results through reduced sickness absence, improved retention, increased resilience, and more productivity.
By assisting businesses to create a healthier and happier workforce, evidence suggests that organisations will see financial benefits from investing in employee health and well-being - through reduced sickness absence, lower staff turnover and better productivity and job satisfaction.
It is free to all organisations based in the Midlands.
Thrive at Work will work with organisations on a one-to-one basis to support them to achieve accreditation and can also help them monitor and evaluate impact by gathering baseline and follow-up data through an enhanced research offer.
