What motivated you to join the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce?
I joined the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce because I wanted to feel part of something bigger than just my own business. For me, it’s about community, shared ambition, and surrounding myself with people who are genuinely trying to make a difference.
Since joining, I’ve built some brilliant relationships, had access to support that’s actually useful, and found new opportunities I wouldn’t have come across otherwise. It’s not just a membership – it’s a space where real conversations happen, and where businesses can grow together.
Can you share a specific instance where Chamber membership directly benefited your business?
One of the biggest benefits of being part of the Chamber has been the quality of introductions. Through Chamber events and networking, I’ve been connected with people I might never have met otherwise – and some of those conversations have already led to real business development opportunities.
A standout moment was being offered the chance to sponsor the Chamber’s Business Awards - Sales and Marketing category. That exposure raised our profile in exactly the right circles and gave us a platform to share what we’re building at PYVITAL. The Chamber has been brilliant for connecting with other businesses not just in a ‘swapping business cards’ way, but through genuine conversations that lead to something more. The events create the right environment for building real relationships and I’ve met people through the Chamber who I now work with, collaborate with, or regularly refer business to.
