Brewers launch corporate five-a-side tournament

Burton Albion FC have launched their annual corporate five-a-side tournament for 2024 – and businesses are once again being urged to sign up.

With companies already signed up for this season’s popular event, which allows teams to compete on the Pirelli Stadium pitch, it is sure to be another fantastic and competitive occasion.

For the second year running this year’s tournament is sponsored by Russell Roof Tiles, who have entered a team every year in recent tournaments. Russell Roof Tiles also sponsor the East Stand at the Pirelli Stadium and are also the football club’s back-of-shirt partner.

Russell Roof Tiles is the largest independent manufacturer of concrete derivatives in the UK pitched roofing market. Employing around 140 staff at three sites in Scotland and two in Burton on Trent the firm is currently on a major recruitment drive at all of its sites to help deliver massive growth in demand.

Lunch will also be provided to all players, with a three-course meal, awards ceremony and entertainment in the evening.

This year’s tournament takes place on Friday, May 3 and the cost for a team comprising eight players, a manager and an assistant manager is £850 plus VAT.
