The Solihull Chamber of Commerce has opened voting to select two new vice presidents and two executive committee positions for the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Executive Council.

The Chamber has received four nominations for the vice president positions and seven nominations for the two executive committee positions by the closing deadline on 16 February.

As the number of candidates exceeds the number of vacancies, an online ballot will take place in advance of the AGM in accordance with the constitution, of which the outcome will be announced at the AGM on 22 March.

They are now inviting all eligible members (members of the Solihull Chamber of Commerce) to participate in an election to determine which of the candidates below will be elected to the vacant positions.

In line with the number of vacant positions, votes may be casted as follows;

It is important to note that only one vote per organisation will be accepted. If multiple votes are received from the same membership number, the first vote submitted will count.

All votes will be treated confidentially, however for validation purposes it is required to provide your full name, company name and your membership number.

Samantha Frampton (pictured), head of the Solihull Chamber of Commerce, said: “Once again I am overwhelmed with the response that we have had from members wanting to join the Solihull Chamber executive committee. The purpose of the committee is to act as ambassadors for the Chamber, its services and its events as well as representing the interests and concerns of the members.

“I want to encourage all Solihull members to take part by voting for their chosen nominees and wish everyone good luck.”
