International Synergies Limited has continued its long-standing delivery of facilitated industrial symbiosis services to businesses in Birmingham and Solihull through the UKSPF-funded Circular Economy for Birmingham and Solihull (CEBAS) project.

The project aims to deliver cost and carbon savings to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Birmingham and Solihull by improving their resource efficiency, supporting both Birmingham City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Councils to reach their own Net Zero goals.

Reducing waste through CEBAS saves money and resources and the firm helps to identify by-products, wastes and other under-utilised resources that can be used by another organisation, either in the same condition or after reprocessing.

Later they will facilitate introductions to potential partner companies and support participating firms to realise these new business opportunities.

Eligible SMEs will receive an initial consultation to identify an organisation's available resources and record current disposal, time management and energy costs.

This information will be used to identify cost reduction and new revenue opportunities to support your journey towards becoming a more resource-efficient and cost-effective

Chief Operating Officer Ian Humphreys (pictured) said: “The CEBAS Team has at its disposal a wealth of industry experience.

“This project can assist a variety of businesses in Birmingham and Solihull, from office-based service providers to large manufacturing companies.

“Companies can access this free business support, which allows them to achieve significant cost and carbon savings by simply getting in touch with us to schedule an initial consultation.”
