Designer creates brand identity for new organic superfood brand

Attack Creative, a creative brand designer, have designed the brand identity for new Solihull-based organic superfood brand Acai Life.

The brand design takes inspiration from the sights and sounds of the Amazon, encompassing bespoke illustrations, dish photography and videos to showcase the dishes that can be created with Acai Life.

Coloured textures and a brushstroke typeface run throughout the brand referencing the street art of Brazil, the country where the fruit is grown and hand-picked, alongside a fun and informal tone of voice.

A�a� has a delicious tropical flavour and a whole host of health benefits associated with it.

For centuries the a�a� berry has been a staple food for communities living near and around the Amazon River delta and is now enjoyed across the world as bowls and smoothies topped with a variety of fresh fruits.

Mark Atkinson, Attack creative director, said: “It was only right that the Acai Life brand identity reflected the vibrancy and energy of both Brazil and the acai berry - this was achieved by utilising a vibrant colour palette, enticing product photography and a series of bespoke hand-drawn illustrations that depict the fruit, flora and fauna of the Amazon river delta.

“To reference the natural qualities of the product - it 's 100 per cent organic, vegan and gluten free - texture plays a vital role throughout the design structure and within the illustrations.

“Textural effects also provide a visual nod to the a�a� palm trees and the baskets that the berries are collected in after they have been hand-picked. ”

In order to successfully launch the brand and bring the product to market, Attack Creative designed a range of packaging for the brands various products, as well as various marketing elements such as the brand website.

They also designed an array of social media graphics to promote sales and communicate key messages, such as the many health benefits and sustainability programmes that Acai Life is supporting in Brazil.
