A new video blog (vlog) called Driven Conversations that will celebrate the business community across the West Midlands is to be launched.

Multifleet Vehicle Management, which trades as runyourfleet and is based in Solihull, is launching the project in partnership with video marketing specialists Ark Media Group and broadcaster and entrepreneur Jas Rohel, founder and chief executive of the Education Awards.

Jas, who is also a presenter for On Your Radio Solihull, will present the vlog series, meeting business leaders, politicians and local influencers in the front seats of a car – a fun scenario made famous by comic actor and presenter James Corden.

Jas will interview guest passengers about topical business subjects and hot topics while they visit popular venues, finding out more about guests’ own lives and careers, and taking pitstops to showcase food from local retailers and restaurants.

Driven Conversations will start with a teaser at the beginning of November, published across social media, with the first full episode running on YouTube from December.

Jas said: “I’m so excited to be working with runyourfleet and Ark Media Group on this brand-new vlog series. Most of the best conversations happen in the car on the move – so that’s exactly what we’re bringing you!

“Expect chats that make you laugh, teach you something new, give you fresh insights, and keep you completely gripped… all while showcasing some amazing vehicles.

“So buckle up and get ready for some Driven Conversations with me, in a car, coming soon to a road near you! Real stories with real people on the move.”

Joanna Lees, PR and marketing manager at runyourfleet, said: “We wanted to shine a light on the incredible business community in the West Midlands.

“It’s such a vibrant, innovative region, and this is our way of celebrating the people, the brands and the stories that make it so special.

“Driven Conversations will mix topical conversations, humour and local insights to showcase local talent and fantastic regional businesses.”

Phil Arkinstall, founder and chief executive of Ark Media Group, said: “Video is at the heart of what we do, and this project will use that expertise to celebrate amazing businesses and people across Solihull and the West Midlands.

“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with runyourfleet and presenter Jas Rohel to bring these stories to life in a fun, engaging and impactful way."

The first episodes will showcase BYD vehicles, with other manufacturers to be involved at a later date.

Malcolm Fryer, head of fleet and remarketing for BYD in the UK, said: “Our BYD cars get a lot of attention, through their stylish looks and tech-laden interiors.

“We’re pleased to be supporting this latest initiative with the loan of a Sealion 7 and look forward to seeing awareness of our brand and the car itself both growing in the weeks ahead."

Driven Conversations can be followed on LinkedIn via @runyourfleet, @Jas Rohel, @Ark Media Group and @BYD UK.
