Employee assistance provider launches new website with free resources
The Listening Centre – Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce’s 2025 Business of the Year - has launched a revamped website, featuring an extensive free resources section.
The leading employee assistance provider (EAP) specialises in workplace wellbeing services across the Midlands.
The Listening Centre delivers tailored, trauma-informed support through their team of expert counsellors and wellbeing specialists.
Their comprehensive services include psychological assessments, talking therapy, clinical supervision, workplace mediation, trauma support, and bespoke training—all designed to help organisations support their most valuable assets: their people.
The Listening Centre’s approach has led to partnerships with some of the Midlands' most recognisable organisations and contributed to their success at the GBCC awards.
"Winning Business of the Year was a tremendous honour that validated our unique approach to workplace wellbeing," says Sharon McCormick, clinical director.
"Our new website is the next step in our mission to transform how organisations support their staff, with particular attention paid to creating a comprehensive resources section that anyone can access, whether they're a client or not."
A highlight of the new website is the resources section, which provides free access to specialist support services across the Midlands and beyond.
“We've spent countless hours developing these resources because we believe everyone deserves access to quality wellbeing support," McCormick explains.
“As Chamber members ourselves, we understand the challenges local businesses face and wanted to create something valuable for the entire community, not just our clients.”
The Listening Centre is also offering a regular schedule of completely free webinars, available to all Chamber members.
Upcoming sessions include:
- Workplace Wellbeing: Building Communities that Care
- Self-Care: Beyond the Buzzwords
- Workplace Strategies for Suicide Prevention
- Stress Reducing Strategies That Work
These masterclasses are presented by experienced practitioners and provide actionable insights that businesses can implement immediately, regardless of size or sector.
"We made a conscious decision to make these valuable resources freely available rather than behind a paywall," adds McCormick.
“This reflects our commitment to improving wellbeing across the business community that has supported us for over two decades."
Chamber members are encouraged to visit the website to explore the new resources section and register for the upcoming free wellbeing webinars.
