Financial and legal expertise sought for Garrick trustee role
Lichfield’s Garrick Theatre is seeking a volunteer trustee with financial or legal expertise to join its board.
The board of trustees play an important role in shaping the future direction of the theatre which has been at the heart of Lichfield since 2003.
The board currently meets four times a year, with meetings typically held on weekdays (5.30pm to 8pm) at the Garrick or a nearby location.
In addition to attending full board meetings, trustees are encouraged to become involved in one or more sub-committees focusing on People & Culture; Finance, Risk & Governance; Programme & Audiences, and Development (Strategic Projects & Fundraising).
David Hill, chair of the board of trustees, said: “Our trustees play a vital role in supporting theatre arts, creativity and community in Lichfield.
“If you have financial or legal expertise and are looking for a rewarding way to give back, I’d encourage you to get involved.”
