Free website overhaul and marketing plan on offer to businesses
Students at University College Birmingham are offering businesses a free brand audit, website overhauls, and a detailed marketing plan as part of their degree course.
It will be conducted by second-year degree students from the Marketing degree programme.
Small-to-medium-sized businesses who could spare a few hours with students are invited to apply.
There is no obligation to implement the marketing plan. The students involved will be assessed on the quality of their review and plan.
Digital marketing degree students will also assess current websites, benchmark it against competition, and generate an improvement plan supported by Computing T-level students.
The students have been trained to professionally evaluate the user experience and to work competently with the website development and analytics tools needed to enhance website experiences.
To take part, businesses are invited to attend the briefing event at the end of on Thursday, 26 February, where people can explain their business, present current assets, and identify wish lists of brand improvements.
The students will then work independently on the review and plan with regular consultations supported by their lecturers.
