Gemini runners sign up for Royal Sutton Fun Run
Sutton Coldfield-based Gemini Wealth Group has joined the network of local businesses supporting the annual Royal Sutton Fun Run – with 11 runners lined up to raise thousands of pounds.
Established in 2006 in Sutton Coldfield with the aim of being the ‘go to’ business for independent financial advice and planning, Gemini, located on Park Road close to Sutton Park Town Gate, has successfully expanded its service launching Gemini Asset Management Limited and Gemini Legal Services Limited.
The team is proud to provide comprehensive in-house solutions to meet most financial planning needs, helping to navigate clients’ financial journeys and achieving their specific goals.
Director Paul Reid said: “Staff, family and friends have regularly participated in the Fun Run raising money for our various chosen charities over the years. We’ve looked at getting involved commercially for a few years, and having our office on the Fun Run course just adds that extra special element to our commercial support.
“We’re thrilled to be sponsoring the new marshal bibs and look forward to another fabulous day raising money for PANS PANDAS UK, a charity close to the hearts of everyone at Gemini Wealth Group. We have eleven Gemini runners taking part on the day who are collectively aiming to raise £4,000 for this incredible charity.”
PANS and PANDAS are conditions that often appear very suddenly and affect the physical and mental health of children and young adults.
They develop in the wake of common infections (such as Covid-19, chicken pox, influenza, or strep A), when the infection subsequently causes a misdirected immune response and/or brain inflammation.
James Pike, Fun Run director said: “We’re delighted to welcome Gemini Wealth Group as a new commercial sponsor. The Fun Run continues to attract local businesses who see the commercial benefits of associating with the Fun Run.
“The directors at Gemini Wealth Group also recognise the opportunity of enjoying a good day with family, friends and work colleagues whilst raising money for their chosen charity.
“With a capacity entry of 5,500, we hope this is the start of a long-term relationship helping us drive the event forward and generating even more money for charities, voluntary groups and community interest organisations, who provide such critical support to people across our royal town.”
The 8.5 mile long Fun Run is being held on Sunday June 1.
